It makes my heart sing and I feel I’m finally doing what I was born to do. I love Reiki, Crystals, Unicorns and Angels and all things spiritual. Not only that but I am committed to them. I work with these energies for my own healing and spiritual development every day. The crucial thing about all of these energies is that each one of us has the innate ability within ourselves to heal ourselves in every way. All I’m doing when I work with you whether it’s as a client on my treatment table, as your Mentor or as a Teacher in a workshop or class, is connecting you in with these energies and giving you the tools to awaken this natural ability to heal and help yourself. I love supporting people on this journey and seeing how each person has a unique experience as you move towards your own empowerment. I’ve always been sensitive and aware of energy and other people’s feelings. I didn’t really start spiritually exploring until I moved to Edinburgh in 1999. I met a wonderful woman who worked with Reiki through massage. She adopted me and became my ‘Scottish Mum.’ She got me interested in all things holistic – buying me my first crystals, showing me how to use a pendulum and giving me my first experience of Reiki. In 2004 my spiritual journey was accelerated as it often is through a wake-up call in the form of a miscarriage. At this devastating time, the only way I could process what had happened was to imagine that my baby was an angel in Heaven. I got interested in Angels and the rest as they say is history. Since then, I have studied and practiced, done my own healing, studied and practiced some more over and over. My own experience shows me the healing power of these energies. These days I am in good physical, mental and emotional health. I wasn’t when I started. I am slowly, gently and gradually manifesting the life I want for myself where I have everything I need and I am free from past trauma. It has not always been an easy journey. Sometimes it’s been painful and difficult, sometimes I’ve felt like I was actually going backwards, sometimes I felt like I was losing everything. I have a treatment room set up at home. For a face-to-face session you lie fully clothed on the treatment bed and we make sure you are comfortable. Before the treatment we have a chat to make sure you have told me everything you feel you need to and had the chance to ask me any questions. All you need to do from then on is to relax and let me take care of the rest. I work with both Usui Holy Fire ® III energy and Karuna ® Reiki energy. I connect in with Reiki and allow it to channel through my body and out through my hands. I may place my hands directly on your body (with your permission) or work slightly away from your body. Reiki can also be sent through the breath and with the eyes. Karuna means compassionate action and Karuna ® Reiki is unique in that it offers the opportunity for healing with the voice. It can be channelled in the usual way but also the symbols can be chanted, toned or sang. For me this is a very special kind of Reiki connecting deeply in with love and compassion. It promotes the journey to the authentic self and has a transformational quality to it. Most people experience Reiki as being relaxing and gentle. A lot of people fall asleep during a healing. You might feel sensations from my hands or in your body like warmth, coolness, tingling sensations. You might see colours or have intuitive thoughts. You might feel nothing but a deep sense of peace and relaxation. Sometimes it will bring emotions to the surface and tears may come but this is all part of the healing process and I always have tissues handy. Levels of Reiki Connection to Reiki is given through a series of Placements and later on Ignitions facilitated and guided by a Reiki Master Teacher such as myself. Although once attuned you are always attuned, continuing to receive placements and ignitions can be a very healing and empowering experience too. Rather than thinking of the levels as a hierarchy where I am achieving promotion to each level, I like to think of it as a deepening. Each level of Reiki that I am attuned to allows me to go deeper within myself, access deeper healing and connect to Reiki more deeply. We are all equals. A Master Teacher is not ‘better’ than someone with Reiki I. We are each on our own individual journey. The process is as follows:- Reiki I – Placing your feet on the path of Reiki. Allows you to give yourself Reiki and share it with your family and friends. Reiki II – The Practitioner Level – You are inviting a deeper level of healing for yourself as you set up as a Practitioner so you can share Reiki with clients. You receive access to the Reiki Symbols at this level which will enhance and take forward your Reiki practice. Reiki Master Practitioner – Advance Reiki Techniques – Again inviting a deeper level of healing for yourself as you receive the Master Symbol and learn advanced techniques. Reiki Master Teacher – Allows you to attune others to Reiki and confirms your commitment to the path of Reiki. You do not have to teach once you become a Master Teacher. You might simply choose to take your Reiki practice to this level for yourself and that is perfectly fine. Once attuned a recipient will remain open to Reiki for the rest of their life. The more that this channel to Reiki is used the stronger the connection will become. As the person giving the Reiki you are a channel. The Reiki comes through you, clears away any blockages and gives healing to you before moving out usually through your hands and into the recipient. During a crystal healing I place crystals on or near your body and energise them so that they can work to their maximum potential. The crystals will then interact with your energy and give you the healing that you need. A crystal healing may feel very similar to a Reiki healing in that you will most likely feel relaxed and calm and you may feel sensations in your body. You might also feel the crystals as particularly heavy or light, you might feel that they are pulling energy out or transmitting energy into your body. You might feel the crystal as hot or cold. As with any other form of healing, the crystals will always work for your highest good and only to the extent that is right for you in the moment. I learned from Philip Permutt and teach his Crystal Healing Courses as well as running my own workshops. There are four levels of Crystal Healing that you can learn. Crystals and Crystal Healing Level 1 – Introductory Level – Showing you how to conduct a basic crystal healing so you can work on your family and friends. Also covering how to choose and care for your crystals and all the basics you need to start working with your crystals. Crystals and Crystal Healing Level 2 – Practitioner Level – Covering more advanced techniques to deepen your crystal healing knowledge and practice as well as covering all aspects of setting up in business as a Crystal Healing Practitioner and taking paying clients. Crystals and Crystal Healing Level 3 – Advanced Practitioner – Again a deepening of the connecting to crystals and advanced techniques. I love working with them. I love talking with them. I love seeing how they help me in my life by easing my path and giving me their support and love. Angels are celestial beings of love that are here to help, guide and support us in every way so that we can do what our souls came here to do. They hold the blueprint for our highest expression and purpose and want to help us towards this as much as possible. They do not have a physical body as their vibration is much higher/faster than ours but if you are clairvoyant, you might be able to see them. For me it’s more of a sense that they are with me. I often get the feeling of seeing something or someone just in the corner of my eye but when I look there is nothing there. They also appear in our photographs in the form of orbs and you may also see orbs yourself. They are androgynous and have no gender but we may feel them as masculine or feminine as we interact with them because we need a masculine or feminine energy. They love to leave signs that they are with you whether it be a feather, showing you a rainbow, repetitive numbers, speaking to you through song lyrics or even through adverts on the television. We each have a Guardian Angel who is with us throughout our lifetimes – guiding and supporting us, nurturing and loving us. We may well have many other angels working with us as any time and as we get to know Angels we can actively call in the ones we want to work with for specific reasons. The crucial thing about Angels is that they respect our free will which means that they can only help us if we ask for it. If we don’t ask them to help they are powerless to intervene unless our life is in danger before our time. It’s very easy to ask an angel for help. Just speak as if you were speaking to a person you can see in front of you and ask for what you need or say how you feel. Similar to a Reiki treatment, you would lie fully clothed on my treatment table and I will connect in with and channel Angel energy. I may place my hands on your body (with your permission) or near your body in your aura. You may have a sense of Angels near you or you may feel them communicate with you. You might get heat, coolness or tingling in your body. Most people feel very relaxed and calm and some even fall asleep. For me Angel Energy feels very powerful yet gentle. I always feel safe and held deeply in a loving energy. I often feel reassured, and it helps to calm me down as I connect in to the idea that I have all the help, support and love that I need. Often Angels and Archangels will make themselves known during a healing and I will channel their energy for you. My two most regular visitors are Archangel Michael who is the great protective Archangel who can release fear and bring courage as well as giving protection and helping us cut ties to anything that we no longer need. Archangel Raphael is known as the Divine Physician and can help us with anything to do with our health, wellbeing and healing as well as protecting us when travelling. They have a lot of similarities with Angels in that they reside in the 7th Heaven and beyond and they vibrate at a rate much higher/faster than us so most people cannot see them. They work in the same way as Angels in that they are here to smooth our path and help us towards our divine blueprint and they can only help us if we ask for it as they respect our free will. What makes Unicorns different to Angels is that they have lived in a physical body which I think gives them a unique understanding of what it is to be human. They have felt pain and felt both the sheer joy and the sheer difficulty of being in a physical body. Unicorns incarnate as horses and follow a similar path to humans in that they continue to re-incarnate learning from each lifetime until they have fulfilled their soul purpose and then they ascend. They spend their last lifetime on Earth as a white horse and ascend at the end of that lifetime. They then become Unicorns. The other main difference between Angels and Unicorns is that not everyone has a Unicorn. Unicorns make themselves known to people who have a soul purpose and calling to help others or the community in some way. They also come to children whose innocence resonates well with their energy and they are great at helping adults with inner child healing. They radiate pure love and light from their third eye which forms the Unicorn Horn that we associate with them. They are often shy and find it easiest to connect with us if we are either in nature or take ourselves into a meditation and imagine we are in nature. They particularly like being near water so next time you are near the sea or a river slow down and see if you can connect with them. Although they are shy, they can be quite playful. Once they feel comfortable with you, you might feel as if they are gently nuzzling you. I have felt myself knocked sideways on a couple of occasions! They will usually allow you to nuzzle them or stroke them during a healing or meditation if you ask respectfully rather than assuming it’s OK. The Unicorn or a small group of Unicorns will come into a healing and work alongside me. They use their horns to tease out old or stuck energy and play with it before sending it off into the ether to be transmuted (changed from one form to another) for the highest good. Whereas Angels work with the heart, Unicorns work with the Soul. They connect us to our Soul Purpose and help us with our soul’s journey. A lot of us are here on the Earth plane at this time to heal long lines of Ancestral Trauma and the Unicorns energy is ideally suited to that as it’s form is so pure. A Unicorn healing will feel very similar to any other healing treatment in that you will probably feel very relaxed and calm. Some people report feeling very happy and settled and like they want to smile while the energy is coming in. The healing may bring up emotions and feelings but Unicorn support is very loving and gentle. You may feel as if they are nuzzling you. Some people have felt unicorns breathe on their skin and they have sometimes given me a little shove to get me moving in the right direction when I’m working with them. We spend one to one time together either in person or over Zoom and it’s as simple as you tell me what you would like to work towards and I share my knowledge and experience with you to help and support you. Whether you are working towards a specific spiritual goal or simply looking for ongoing support and practical help on your spiritual journey I can help. We start by having a 30 minute free consultation which allows you to let me know what you want to work on and also to get a feel for me and how I work so that you can make sure you are comfortable with me. It also gives me a chance to feel into how I might help, support and advise you. Once you are happy to proceed we meet either in person or online and week by week we work towards your goal or take our steps on your spiritual journey. Most sessions start with a check in to see how you are doing and how things have been since the last time we met. Then we proceed with the main body of the session. Sometimes this will be us talking through options and me making suggestions or giving you information. Sometimes I might take you through a meditation or visualisation. Sometimes there is an element of healing if this would support you journey. Each session is unique which is why I love it. I generally find it’s more beneficial if you book a block of sessions and we have a plan of what we are working towards that it agreed between us. It’s good to review every now and then to make sure you feel happy with how things are going and that you are getting a clear benefit.
